Buying Art from Us

There is no minimum order requirement. We accept payments by MasterCard, Visa, Switch and Delta made through PayPal. Alternatively you can make a purchase and pay by direct bank transfer, personal cheque and postal orders please contact us for a full postal address when ordering by mail, US order is to made online only. Your order will be despatched as soon as your payment has been received & funds are cleared. Cheques / Postal Orders should be made payable to Fabrizio Van Marciano. We do not ship any artwork out until payment is received in full. For direct bank transfers please telephone +44 (0) 7915 961327.

Commissions

Commission orders are taken and carried out on a daily basis. We run a no deposit and no obligation to buy policy. Upon completion, an Email is sent out with a picture (jpeg) of your finished work for your approval. Payment via PayPal or personal cheque is then negotiated. Payment in full is required before we ship out any completed commissioned artwork. Due to the current demand on commissioned and custom artwork we kindly ask that you allow up to 3 weeks for completion and delivery.

Gift Vouchers

Redeeming your gift vouchers

Before you can make a purchase using your gift voucher you need to contact us by email with the following details:

We will then email you a unique payment link with the value of the voucher deducted from the total amount. If your purchase is at the full value of your voucher then we will arrange shipping upon receipt of your email confirmation as outlined above.

Note: Our gift vouchers do not have an expiry date so you can spend at your leisure at any time. Our gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for money. Our gift vouchers can only be used at Original Art Direct.com or Van Marciano Art.com. Our gift vouchers can be redeemed only once. Our gift vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offer(s) run by Original Art Direct.com or Van Marciano Art.com unless otherwise stated and cannot be used to purchase more gift vouchers from either site.

Returns (Commissions & Custom Artwork)

We can accept returns on commissioned artwork providing that you advise us within 14-days of receipt of your purchase. For returned commissioned artwork we charge a 30% restocking fee. This is because we do not have the storing facility for artwork since they are created specifically to order.

Returns (Shop)

We operate a 14-day money back guarantee, which means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, simply return it to us in its original condition within 14-days from date of receipt and we will issue you with a full refund or an alternative. Please be aware that 10% of the total price is retained to cover packaging and courier costs as this is normally included in our online prices. Please also be aware that we do not refund shipping costs incurred by returning artwork to us unless your item was damaged during transit or a mistake has been made on our behalf. If your artwork is either faulty or damaged, please contact us within 14-days of receipt, and we will arrange for a replacement and a full refund on postage fees incurred from returning faulty or damaged goods to us.

Shipping & Handling Fees

Van Marciano Art.com and Original Art Direct.com are able to ship artwork worldwide, as well as throughout the UK. Our shipping fees applies and is broken down into 4 zones, please view our shipping fees page for more information and a breakdown of costs and services.

Delivery times

We aim to get your order to you within 3 to 5 working days excluding weekends and bank holidays, however on busier times such as Easter and Christmas, we kindly ask you to allow up to 7 to 10 working days for delivery before chasing your order. International orders please allow up to 21 days for delivery. In the unlikely event that your artwork is not in stock, we will e-mail you to advise you of this and offer an alternative or refund. For commissioned artwork please allow up to 21 days for completion before delivery is arranged.

Credit card security

All credit card transactions are taken via PayPal for fast and secured online payments, so we don't even see or store your credit or debit card details.

Privacy policy

We respect your privacy therefore we only use the information we collect about you lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We do this for two reasons 1) to process your order 2) to provide the best service. Your details will not be passed on to any other party. View more information on our privacy policy
