Materials

Our canvas stretched over wooden frame supports used art manufactured by Winsor & Newton, which is high quality 100% cotton canvas stretched over 38mm profile frame supports, then fastened neatly on the reverse with small tacks allowing us to paint along the sides of the canvas. The surface is double primed for strength and durability. The paints and mediums that we use are Winsor & Newton Finity series acrylic pigments, which are applied in several layers by the artist depending on the depth and light of the artwork being carried out. Our newborn artwork is then set to dry for 72 hours before we apply a thin layer of Winsor & Newton acrylic matt or gloss varnish to its vibrant surface.
