Well all is done and dusted for Christmas, orders are complete and commissions are on their way to Santa’s grotto for his personal delivery lol. I am leaving you now in the not so capable hands of Samantha for enquiries and commission requests for the New Year lol, whilst I take a cultural break in the art capital of Europe. I’d like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and look forward to your continued support throughout 2009.

The Birthday Boy...
Boy it feels great to be back on home ground. The sun is shining gloriously outside and yep… it’s my Birthday today. So what do I have planned on such a glorious day? Well a friend and I are off to Lynton and Lynmouth on the North Devon coast today, in an effort to get some inspiration and to gear myself up for the New Year. Had a late surf at Widemouth Bay a few days ago and boy was it cold, but definitely worth it as the sunsets there over the last few days has been simply amazing. Well I should have some pics posted on here for you guys by then end of the evening if not tomorrow morning. 28/12/08
Inspiration...
Good evening all, well due to myself being bed reddened for the last 24 hours or so with a chest infection and flu like symptoms, I have been unable to update the blog. I had an enjoyable day on the 28th with a Sam and friends as we travelled up to Lynton and Lynmouth. The Railway adventure from Woody Bay Station was certainly a return to childhood memories. Visited a few local art galleries to see what was happening and it certainly was an eye opener. I am all fuelled up now with some ideas of my own for the new year. 30/12/08

Good morning...
Good morning, well its yet another beautiful morning here and this time we’re in north Devon. Didn’t make it to the surf yesterday as we’ve simply been too busy working on the new collection and updating the website. The sale is to be continued until the end of January 2009. There is still plenty to be added to the sale collection throughout the month so keep checking back. Also keep an eye out for new canvas paintings being uploaded as from Sunday 4th January. We are back on the saddle properly next week so if you’re still waiting for paintings to arrive after the Christmas period then you should expect it week commencing the 5th of January. Anyway its either back to the grind or brave it and face the freezing ice-cold surf! 04/01/09
Well...
Good morning all, I have been told that I start my daily blog with the word ‘well’ too many times… Well I apologise for this. Well its another beautiful morning here on the North Devon coast today as I gaze over the glassy 4ft surf which we’ve been blessed by this week, and no I haven’t been anywhere near the surf. Well simply because of the amount of work my bossy boots-marketing manager Samantha Wright has loaded me with lol. Anyone still waiting for paintings purchased during the Christmas period should expect it this week as we work towards getting our little backlog down. I’m off to Exeter this evening to collect art supplies so if anyone’s thinking of commissioning a piece of artwork please let me know before five o’clock this evening. 06/01/09
Its Freezing...
Good morning all, the sun is shining and its yet another blissful crisp morning on the north coast here. The sub-zero temperatures has recently killed the car so I have been unable to get about and about these last few days. Well yesterday afternoon I decided that I wasn’t going to miss any more surf and kittled up to his the evening swell. The report was right which made a change as it was going off on 3 to 4ft offshore. Spent an hour out with a few of the local surfers chatting away, however after about an hour I could feel the freezing cold water purging into my wetsuit, it was my cue to paddle back in to change. So the short trip was well worth it and if it wasn’t for the fact that it felt colder than the Antarctic then it would have been pretty ok. But it is winter I guess I should expect it.
Well on the painting home front I’m currently waiting for a delivery of canvases to arrive so that I can start commissioning a few outstanding paintings. Also some of you might have notice that the single canvas section has been updated with new works. There will be an addition of three large paintings based on local interests and landmarks added over the next few days, but the real treat in store is that I will be busy creating a new catalogue of artwork on 16 x 20 deep edge canvases and will be going on sale in our Art Under £30.00 section. The £20.00 off discount will exclude these paintings as they are discounted heavily as it is. The new artwork will go on in a single gallery update an not over any course of time. Members of Van Marciano Art will receive email notification of the arrival of the new artwork in due course.
We’re hoping to have a large choice of artwork available from single canvas paintings to multiple canvas paintings and affordable art under £30.00 along with some new categories to be added to the shop by the spring. Well better be off to start work on the tasks ahead have a good day. 09/01/09
Spring? maybe not...
Good morning everyone and is it me or is there a prospective feel of spring just round the corner. Yep it’s me… We are currently working on the new art for under £30.00 collection and this week has been a pretty busy one with the 80% sales in full swing. There are a few remaining items to be had however we will be adding to the sale in the next few days to make room for our new paintings coming in February. Well I’m bout to head out for a paddle so have good day what ever you get up to.
Good afternoon...
Good afternoon all my apologies for the slacking of updating the blog recently. We have been busy yes yet again putting together new paintings for February and the run up to Valentines day. I must also apologise for the website being down for almost two days during the week as we were face with some minor technical problems... I like that word, technical problems... yeah ok... and now in other news, ha just joking. Ok folks next week we're working furthermore on new paintings for the 'under £30.00' category plus there's some new stuff to be included in February's newsletter. Have a great weekend all. Oh I almost forgot, happy birthday sis.

A long time...
Good morning every one and its an early one after some time away… from the blog that is. Well its currently 1:23am on Saturday morning and I am as excited as the boys in catching some kick ass kegs tomorrow down at Harlyn. I’m relying on it to be big and deadly as I feel I need a good thrashing after living a bit of a couch potato life these recent weeks. Well we’re down in Cornwall for the weekend and hopefully will get some inspiration to create something new and fresh next week when I’m back in the studio. We recently created some new commissioned canvas art based on Godrevy Bay which is going pretty well so there should be more coming later in February... Rest in peace Toby, our family pet cat who passed away today. Thanks for making me laugh over the small years that you blessed us with, will see you again one day x.
